What It Treats

“Expression lines” are wrinkles that earn their name because they develop over time when we smile, squint, frown, or arch our eyebrows when we’re surprised or angry. The repetitive movement of the small facial muscles that control these expressions creates the appearance of worry lines and crow’s feet–also referred to as “dynamic wrinkles”. Like BOTOX and other neuromodulators, Jeuveau relaxes these tiny muscles to soften these lines and wrinkles, allowing you to look rested and more youthful.

Virtually anyone who believes that vertical lines between the eyebrows detract from their appearance is a good candidate for Jeuveau. It is approved by the FDA to treat these wrinkles (sometimes called “worry lines” or “the 11s”). Jeuveau or Fillers?

Dermal fillers and Jeuveau are both injectable, anti-wrinkle treatments, but they work in different ways. In fact, many patients who get Jeuveau injections can also benefit from fillers because they address different types of wrinkles. The dynamic wrinkles targeted by Jeuveau, BOTOX Cosmetic, and other neurotoxins are formed by repeated muscle movements.

Your Treatment Experience

Jeuveau treatments are brief, usually lasting about 15 minutes. Our Expert Injectors precisely target the specific muscles to minimize worry lines between the eyes and other dynamic wrinkles. Most patients experience a feeling similar to being pinched during the injections, and there is no downtime or lasting discomfort following the treatments.

Results

You won’t notice immediate changes after getting Jeuveau injections. Clinical trials demonstrated that treatment results take about 2 to 3 days for the initial changes to be seen. Every patient’s experience is unique, however, and it can take up to 2 weeks for the optimal results to appear.
