CaloSpa® Rejuvenation Center in Louisville is excited to offer the latest FDA-cleared treatment for building muscle and reducing fat without exercise, Accufit™ for people from Lexington, KY, and Floyds Knobs, IN, and surrounding areas. This non-invasive muscle stimulation treatment works to target specific muscle groups to help improve muscle tone and strength to improve your appearance quickly and effectively.

Accufit uses electro-muscular stimulation technology to consistently stimulate the muscle throughout the treatment process, maintaining a steady flow of energy to the muscle to enhance results and reduce discomfort. During a single 30-45 minute Accufit session, you can treat the abdomen, thighs, and buttocks, making this the most effective muscle stimulation procedure available.

Accufit Treatments

Accufit is unique in that it stimulates 4 unique muscle movements, like you would perform during a yoga, weight training, and massage, without exercise, to affect the entire muscle group and encourage muscle growth.

With Accufit, we are able to target select muscle groups to specifically target the muscles and stimulate movement to achieve superior results with minimal treatment time. Regardless of muscle size, the Accufit device enables comprehensive muscle engagement to help build muscle and burn fat with each treatment.

If you exercise regularly but are not seeing the results you want, Accufit can supplement your workouts to help you get the toned, flat stomach, tighter buttocks, and toned thighs with less work and in less time.

We recommend a series of 4 Accufit treatments at least 2 days apart to achieve the best results. You can expect to start seeing results after just 2 sessions. To help maintain your results, we recommend periodic follow-up sessions.

For best results, we recommend combining Accufit with CoolSculpting® to reduce fat while building muscle without surgery.

The Procedure

Accufit uses electronic energy to stretch and contract the muscles in the abdomen, buttocks and thighs. Your provider applies the IntelliSTIM electrodes to the targeted muscle group and the Accufit goes to work. The treatment starts with a gentle stretch and contraction of the muscles then increases in intensity as the treatment continues. As you near the end of the session, the contractions will start to slow, creating a “warm down” effect to help reduce muscle fatigue.

There are 4 cycles during the treatment, individually achieving different muscle movements to build muscle as effectively as possible. These movements include:

• Twisting
• Holding
• Gripping
• Tapping

After the treatment is completed, you may feel some tingling in the treated muscle groups, similar to post-workout fatigue. The treatment itself is very comfortable, and there is no downtime. You can return to normal activities and exercise immediately.

Q: Who is a candidate for Accufit?

A: Accufit is a great treatment for men and women of all ages who are active, exercise regularly, eat healthfully, and want to improve their muscle tone. It is a way of supplementing your current exercise regimen to help you achieve the results you want.

Q: Does it hurt?

A: The Accufit treatment is very comfortable. The 4-cycle treatments each begin with a warm-up portion that gradually increases to higher intensity then slows as you reach the end to allow your muscles to start to warm down before starting the next cycle. Some patients have experienced muscle fatigue and soreness after treatment, similar to what you experience after an intense workout.

 Q: When will I see results?

A: Many patients begin to see improvement in muscle tone after just 2 sessions, but you can expect to see full results a few weeks after your 4^th treatment. We recommend scheduling periodic follow-up treatments to maintain your Accufit results as well as continuing to diet and exercise to maintain a healthy body.

Q: Can I combine Accufit with other treatments?

A: Yes, we recommend combining Accufit with Semaglutide and Tirzepatide weight loss treatments, an injectable weight loss treatment designed to decrease your appetite and control blood sugar. Together, these procedures can help reshape your body.
