About VI Peels

There are six unique VI Peel formulations, each designed to treat specific skin concerns. These medium-depth chemical peels are painless, safe for all skin types and tones, and are designed to deliver noticeable results. During your consultation with one of our skincare specialists, they will assess your skin and recommend the correct peel to suit your needs.

VI Peel Precision Plus: This medium-depth chemical peel addresses dark spots and sun damage while encouraging rapid cell turnover to reveal brighter, more even skin tone.
VI Peel Purify with Precision Plus: This dual-action chemical peel works to address acne, acne scarring, and pigmentation. It works to cleanse pores to prevent future breakouts and address discoloration and scarring to brighten and cleanse skin.
VI Peel Purify: This powerful chemical peel treats active acne and stops future breakouts from occurring. By targeting dead skin cells that clog pores and removing excess oil from the skin, this peel smooths and soothes acne-prone skin.
VI Peel Advanced: This anti-aging chemical peel is ideal for patients over 40 who are concerned with the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and lax skin. This peel penetrates deeper to soften the appearance of lines and trigger collagen production for long-lasting skin improvement.
VI Peel Original: This chemical peel works for all ages and skin types to address a variety of skin concerns, including tone and texture, dark spots, and dullness.
VI Peel Body: This first-of-its-kind chemical peel designed for the body targets trouble areas like the chest, shoulders, and back. Designed to encourage cell turnover and remove dead skin cells, this body peel addresses active acne, pigmentation, scarring, stretch marks, and lax skin.

VI Peels are ideal for treating pigmentation, acne, scarring, and signs of aging via a painless, effective chemical peel treatment that is safe for all skin types. While most patients see results after just one treatment, we recommend a series of 3 to 6 VI Peels spaced 2-4 weeks apart for optimal results.

The Procedure

VI Peels work gently to remove dead skin cells and reveal brighter, more refreshed skin. During your consultation, your provider will assess your skin and discuss your needs. From there, they will recommend one of the 6 VI Peel chemical peel formula options.

VI Peels are only available through authorized medical spas like CaloSpa. These highly supervised and effective skin treatments are designed to reveal fresh, glowing skin within a few days.

Like other chemical peels, a VI Peel addresses the top layers of skin, resulting in initial flaking and then peeling of the outer layers of skin as your body sheds the dead skin cell layers, revealing brighter, fresher skin beneath.

What to Expect During a VI Peel

First, your provider will cleanse and prep your skin, ensuring it is free from impurities, sunscreen, and makeup to achieve an effective result. Then, your provider applies the VI Peel formula to your skin, using gauze to apply the liquid using sweeping strokes.

After each layer is applied, your provider will allow time for your skin to absorb the peel and will assess your skin’s reaction. After the peel has been applied, you may appear slightly flushed or even tanned. Many patients express that their skin appears to glow!

After your treatment, your provider will give you a VI Peel take-home kit that includes post-treatment instructions and skincare products to care for your skin and ensure the best results. You can expect to see some flaking on day 2 with peeling by days 3 to 5, and by day 7, you will start to see fresh, glowing skin.

How many treatments will I need?

You will notice results after just 1 VI Peel treatment, but for the best results, we recommend a series of 3 to 6 peels spaced 2 to 4 weeks apart, followed by maintenance treatments every 3 to 6 months.

Can VI Peels be combined with other treatments?

How long do the results last?

VI Peels results can last for several months, depending on your skin concerns. For patients with acne-prone skin, we may recommend continued maintenance treatments every 2 to 3 months to maintain results.
