The results of the RF microneedling treatment won’t be immediately apparent. The procedure creates tiny wounds below the skin’s surface, triggering the gradual healing process that produces new collagen and elastin, the key components of smoother, tighter skin. Mild redness is the most common side effect, along with the sensation of a minor sunburn. Most patients can return to work and other normal activities a day or two after the procedure. Results will begin to become apparent in the following weeks as the deep layers of the skin heal and the surface tightens.
