A PRX Peel is a unique combination of trichloroacetic acid (TCA), hydrogen peroxide, and kojic acid that requires no downtime or exfoliation while achieving noticeable results. What Is a PRX Peel Like?

First, your provider cleanses and dries the skin, ensuring all impurities have been removed. Then, the PRX Peel formula is applied to your skin using a massaging technique to ensure complete absorption. Your provider applies 2 to 5 layers of PRX Peel to your skin, massaging it thoroughly to ensure full absorption between layers. Each PRX Peel treatment takes about 30 minutes to complete.

During treatment, your skin may tingle and feel slightly heated, a sensation that usually subsides within 5 minutes.

After the treatment is completed, your skincare provider will cleanse your skin with water, then apply moisturizer to the treated area to ensure maximum absorption.

To help enhance results and achieve deeper penetration of the PRX Peel formula, your skincare provider may add SkinPen® microneedling during the serum application to help ensure the serum reaches the deepest layers of the skin.

At CaloSpa, we recommend a series of treatments weekly for the best results. The number of treatments will vary based on the treatment area and skin concern. After your initial series of treatments, we recommend continued maintenance peels every 3-4 months.
