Remove Unwanted Tattoos with the Picosure Laser

ba_picosure_cynosure_post6tx_qscompareWho doesn’t know someone with a tattoo that they wish they had never got or wish they could get rid of?  Over the years laser technology has continued to improve for tattoo removal and  now patients can see faster and better results with the new  Picosure Laser available at CaloSpa.

One of the easiest ways to explain how the Picosure is different from other lasers is that it has the ability to break up the ink into particles the size of fine sand. This then makes it much easier for the body to continue to break down and lighten up the ink for faster absorption and fading.   Previous  lasers and most other lasers available on the market are basically  only able to break the ink down into marble size particles resulting in clients having to go through more treatments to see results.  The Picosure laser has proven to be one of the most advanced lasers available today.

One of the first questions I get from clients is how many treatments will it take?  The truth with all laser tattoo removal is there is no set number of treatments but we do see that with the Picosure laser, patients are having to undergo less treatments to receive optimal results.  Let me explain though why the number of treatments may vary. Each tattoo is very different from one another and many factors come into play.  Tattoo inks can vary and the depth the ink was placed can affect how quickly someone may see results.  Also, another important factor is how old the tattoo is. We have seen consistent results with older tattoo’s responding faster.  I want to mention that colored inks can definitely get results but generally will require more treatments and red it the most difficult color to treat.

I think it is very important to remember that with any laser it is a process and results take time and commitment.  Treatments are done every 6 to 8 weeks with little downtime between treatments. It is very common to have minor scabbing post treatment and some may experience blistering as well. You can expect about 5 days of healing with most treatments.

The Picosure Laser for tattoo removal is the most effective and efficient way to remove unwanted tattoos. See for your self [/link]Tattoo Removal before and after photos[/link].
